If you treat your ministry (just) as an obligation, you’re doing it just because you have to. You will later find yourself serving the kingdom more than the King. You will either lose your fire or lose control.
But if you see your ministry as a sacrifice, you’ll find a greater purpose in what you’re doing. You choose to get out of your comfort zone just to serve the King and to witness His unfathomable plans unfold infront of you. You will also feel a certain kind of fulfillment that only God can reward you, a fulfillment no earthly things or people’s applause could surpass. Every effort you do is not in vain. Every discouragement you receive only makes you stronger and every obstacle you encounter only makes you love your ministry more.
*sigh*
